OUR STUDIO ARTISTS
Glen began his journey as a tattoo artist by landing himself an apprenticeship at an award-wining studio, local to home in Surrey.
He then moved around various studios in order to gain as much knowledge and experience from different artists. After just a few short years of tattooing Glen took an opportunity to work alongside another award winning artist in Newcastle upon Tyne where he worked for 6 months.
Glen went on to secure a spot at a studio in Belgium, surrounded by world class artists and attended multiple seminars in both black and grey and colour realism. After spending a year in Belgium building an extensive portfolio Glen returned to the UK where he opened his first studio Ladies and Gentlemen Tattoo.
Following the successful opening of the studio, Glen was approached by E4’s popular show Tattoo Fixers and subsequently filmed two series, which aired during 2017-18. Now back in his studio full time, Glen is looking to continue building his portfolio with striking realism/surrealism and large-scale pieces.
Since June 2019, Glen has been sponsored by Forever Forgotten Tattoo Aftercare as a member of their pro-team.
In August 2019, Glen collaborated with friend and fellow tattoo artist Alice Perrin to create this large scale thigh piece at the Oxford Tattoo Convention, winning Best Large Colour, Best of Sunday and Best of Show.
Paris grew up within an artistic family, creating art alongside her two sisters from a young age, all inspired by their Grandma who specialised in painting. Through her school years Paris aspired to be a tattoo artist after studying Shawn Barber and his depictions of tattooed models in his oil paintings, which spurred her fascination with body art. Paris went on to study fine art and sculpture at Brooklands College, graduating in 2014. After spending time building her portfolio with a variety of artistic ventures, at age 19, Paris applied for an apprenticeship at a local studio with tattoo artist Daniel Hampton. By 2015 Paris was pursing her passion full time.
Working across various studios Paris has enjoyed learning all about her craft from fellow artists, developing her skills and own style. Her curiosities focused predominantly on the use of black ink in a dot work style to produce geometric patterns and mandalas, taking inspiration from nature for her designs mixing floral aspects and animals to the pieces.
Paris began working at Ladies and Gentlemen in August 2016 and during her time working alongside Glen, found her confidence growing with black and grey realism. In early 2017 Paris embraced an exciting opportunity to live and work in Sweden to continue learning from other artists and experience a different culture. Paris took a position at Infamous Studio Tattoo in the heart of Stockholm and spent an exciting year working alongside high quality artists, in particular owner Theo Jack who she greatly admires. Paris has now decided to return to the UK and we are pleased to welcome her back to Ladies and Gentlemen to continue progressing and developing her creative style.
Luke has been interested in the art of tattooing since a young age and has always been drawing.
He started his career in Woking and after moving away from where he started, has returned to the area.
Luke enjoys drawing and designing anything realistic; whether colour or black and grey. He particularly enjoys designs incorporating animals. This passion transferred into his tattooing, and is now what he loves to do the most.
He does however try to keep his mind open to the plethora of styles out there, and doesn't limit himself. He loves working with people and endeavours to make them as happy and comfortable as possible. Luke strongly believes that, along with the other talented artists, he creates an unrivalled atmosphere for colleagues and those who entrust them with making their concepts flourish and bloom into life on their bodies.
Luke joined the Ladies and Gentlemen team in June 2018, and has since been making a lasting impression, and not just to the client's skin!
Since the age of 9, when Beckie first came across a tattoo, she’s been infatuated with the design, skill and concept of body art. Her mind hasn’t been swayed, despite over 10 years passing, and she secured an apprenticeship here at Ladies and Gentlemen Tattoo Studio.
Having studied Art & Design for 2 years at her local Cheltenham College, she then progressed to complete a 1 year Art Foundation course. With a secure handle on both her pencil and the ways in which to manipulate it, Beckie’s drawing skills looked promising to translate beautifully onto the skin, as she began her journey towards tattooing as Glen's apprentice in June 2018.
Beckie progressed to tattoo her first clients as an apprentice in November 2018. After an impressive year of skilfully executed work, she then became a Junior Artist in January 2020.
Beckie works in realism, and particularly aspires to continue to specialise in grotesque, horror themed tattoos.
